At Microsoft Ignite 2021, Microsoft announced a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Intelligent Order Management that coming in preview.


What's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Intelligent Order Management?

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Intelligent Order Management is an application that enables companies to intelligently orchestrate fulfillment and automate it with a user-friendly, easily configurable rule-based system using real-time omnichannel inventory data, AI, and machine learning.

  • It is a software as a service (SaaS) running on the Microsoft cloud.
  • It is built on a modern open platform that can provide the flexibility companies need today to capture orders from any order source like online e-commerce, marketplace, mobile apps, or traditional sources like EDI and fulfill them from their own warehouse, 3PL, stores, or drop-ship with vendors or other delivery fulfillment partners.
  • It will be available in preview in April 2021.
