I have deleted a channel in Microsoft Teams by mistake, this channel has been deleted 2 weeks ago.

Is there any way to restore deleted standard or private channels in Microsoft Teams with all old conversations and files?

Yes, you can restore a deleted standard or private channel in Microsoft Teams from a desktop client or web.

Note

• You can restore a deleted standard or private channel in Microsoft Teams within 21 days after it's deleted.
• When you delete a standard channel, all conversations will be deleted however, you can find all its files in the Shared document
  library on the team site. Ex: https://TenantName/sites/TeamName/Shared Documents/Forms/AllItems.aspx.

How to restore a deleted channel in Microsoft Teams?

Whatever the deleted channel is a private or standard channel, you can restore this channel in Microsoft Teams by doing the following:

Steps

1. Open Microsoft Teams Desktop client.
2. Click on Teams > Find the team name where your channel has been deleted.
3. Click on the eclipse ... beside the team name > Select Manage Team.
   
4. Click on the Channels tab.
5. Here you can find all active and deleted channels.
6. Under the deleted section, click on the Restore button beside the channel that you would like to restore.
