How to Rename subsite Title in SharePoint 2019

How I can rename the subsite Title in SharePoint 2019. I tried to

  1. open the site and then edit the site home page default.aspx,
  2. Change page title but it didn't work and only the page title changes not the site name

How to Rename subsite Title in SharePoint 2019?

To can Rename the Title and also Change the URL name, you have to do the following:

  1. Go to site settings on the subsite you want to update.
    Change a SharePoint subsite name and URL
  2. Select Title, description, and logo under “Look and Feel”
    Change a SharePoint subsite name and URL SharePoint 2019
  3. then rename the title in the Title: field.
