How can I temporarily prevent access to a SharePoint site collection in SharePoint Online without removing it or deleting the user permissions?

Lock access for SharePoint Online Site Collection.

In SharePoint Online, you can use the below PowerShell to lock access to a site collection without deleting it.

Set-SPOSite https://melqassas.sharepoint.com/sites/DemoSites -lockstate NoAccess
