Prevent Mic Use in Microsoft Teams Meetings?

To disallow users to use the Mic in Microsoft Teams meeting, you have to adjust your Meeting Options by doing the following:

1. Go to your Microsoft Teams Calendar.
2. Double-click the meeting you want to configure.
3. Select Meeting options near the top of the screen.
4. Turn off the “Allow mic for attendees?” toggle.
   
5. Click Save to apply the changes.
6. Now, all attendees (except presenters) will join the meeting with their mics muted.

Yes, However, during the meeting To disable an individual’s mic or camera, select More options next to their name and then choose Disable mic!
