Exclude blank value in slicer in powerbi

Question

I am working on a Power BI desktop and I want to exclude the blank value in a slicer.

I tried to add a field on the visual level filter for slicer and it doesn't accept any field. and I can't exclude the blank value in a slicer.

Is there any workaround to apply a filter on slicer in Power BI?

Apply a filter on slicer in Power BI

Looks like you are using an older version for Power BI Desktop! where the Visual level filter for slicers is now available in Power BI Desktop June 2019 and later.

In Power BI Desktop June 2019 and later, you can

• Apply a filter on a slicer like any other visual level filter.
• Apply a filter only on the slicer and no other visuals.

As a workaround for earlier Power BI Desktop versions:

You can apply a filter on a slicer by

• Applying a Page filter instead of a visual filter that will not accept any field as you said.

  

Note: This workaround will exclude the blank values on a slicer and all other visuals on the same page.
