I have a report with many visuals in Power BI, one of these cards is visual with the total and I need to Stop filtering for this card when I click on other charts, How can I restrict the card visual from NOT filtering in Power BI?

Ignore Slicer Filter in Power BI

To restrict the card visual from NOT filtering in Power BI, you have to use the awesome Edit Interactions option in the Format Tab.

How to use Edit Interactions in Power BI

  1. In Power BI Desktop, Click on "Format" tab.
  2. Click on "Edit Interactions".
  3. Click on the visual that you would like to ignore the filter when clicking on it.
  4. On the Card visual, click on "Filter" icon to ignore the filter when you click on the selected visual.

  5. Click again on "Edit Interactions" button to apply the filter settings.
  6. Try now to use the selected visual to filter other visuals, you will note that the Card visual is not filtered as expected.
