Web part Maintenance Page in SharePoint
When your SharePoint page crashes due to faulty web parts, a web part maintenance page can be a real lifesaver.
To access the web part maintenance mode that offers close, reset, delete functionalities on web parts, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the problem page’s URL
- At the end of the URL add
?contents=1
- Choose the broken web part by checking the box and clicking Delete
After these steps, your page should open properly and the web part has been deleted successfully.
