I am using the Power BI service to show Map visual and Filled Map visual in my dashboard but when adding map visual I got this error Map and filled map visuals aren't enabled for your org. contact your tenant admin to fix this

I clicked on see details, I got Map and Filled map visuals are disabled error

Enable Map and Filled map visuals in Power BI

First, you need to be a Tenant Admin to can Enable Map and Filled map visuals in Power BI as the following:

  1. As a Power BI Tenant Admin, open https://app.powerbi.com/
  2. Provide your email, then provide the password.
  3. Click on the setting gear icon and select Admin Portal.

  4. At Tenant Settings,
    Tenant Settings in Power BI
  5. Scroll down to Map and Filled Map Visual Settings.
  6. Click Enable to allow people in your org to use the map and filled map visualizations in their reports.
  7. Then click on Apply.

  8. This setting applies to the entire organization, and the Tenant settings changes will be applied within the next 15 minutes and may take more than this period.
